Our Mission
Animal Balance believes that high volume, community based sterilization campaigns combined with rabies vaccination is the only
humane, logical and sustainable strategy to combat the over population of cats and dogs and prevent the spread of rabies.

Our Ethics
Animal Balance believes that all life is precious and therefore only employs humane strategies to help balance the animal populations and
reduce cruelty and suffering.

Where We Work
Animal Balance works on islands where there is either a threat to biodiversity, human health, or the community is too impoverished to
sterilize their escalating cat and dog populations. We currently work on
The Galapagos Islands, Samoan Islands and Dominican Republic.
Protecting ALL Species

Our Approach
Animal Balance believes in using the latest technology and employs only humane methods to solve these problems. Our strategy is to
work collaboratively with the community, government, non profits and pharmaceutical companies to provide the tools and training
necessary for the programs to be sustainable. We work collaboratively with the scientific community, to contribute to the scientific
knowledge using techniques and strategies of population analysis, disease and population control by working with universities,
veterinarians and students to collect valuable samples and statistics.

Who We Are
Animal Balance is an organization of over 450 volunteer veterinarians, animals technicians and assistants who come together to form
the clinic teams. Animal Balance organizes the campaign via a virtual office, therefore reducing overhead costs to a minimum.  The
volunteers pay for their own costs when on a campaign.
